Pilates training is not a group exercise class in a crowded fitness environment, Pilates is designed to be an individual workout with your body where you have the instructor’s undivided attention in a calm setting. That is why finding the right space was very important to us – our cosy studio has a peaceful atmosphere, lots of natural light and a view of Old Town.
Our instructors at Roseni Pilates Studio are trained by and certified through the Romana’s Pilates instructor training programme under the watchful eye of recognized teachers in Sydney and Hague. Due to our studies abroad, we are part of global network of deeply experienced and knowledgeable instructors. We are glad to share our skills and knowledge with you in order to help you feel and move better.
Our studio is equipped with new Gratz apparatus − manufactured and shipped from Pennsylvania. Gratz Industries is the original manufacturer of Pilates apparatus and the source for authentic equipment. Gratz is highly valued among the Pilates community and can be found in studios worldwide where the classical method is taught.
The studio has shower facilities with fresh towels for clients’ comfort and convenience. You can use eco-labeled bathroom amenities and a hairdryer.
Our studio only offers private lessons which will allow us to tailor your exercise program to meet your specific individual needs and to provide you with more care and attention. Your instructor will decide on the intensity of the training, whilst ensuring a safe environment and monitoring performance throughout your lesson.
We will help you to improve your quality of life through effective and safe training. Pilates Method puts emphasis on strengthening the deep core muscles (‘Powerhouse’) and is designed to improve flexibility, build strength, develop co-ordination and improve body awareness.
After couple of months of training you should notice a real improvement in your posture and balance. Your sense of general wellbeing should increase as your level of strength and control progress.
Pilates is suitable whether you are looking for challenging workouts, or therapy from injury. Our Instructors will always tailor their lesson to suit your personal needs. In other words, a bespoke program can be developed specifically for you to increase your level of physical fitness.
Private lessons are 50 minutes long, provide a full body workout and are suitable for everybody, at any level of practice.

Pilates is an exercise regime developed by Joseph Hubertus Pilates (1883-1967). The Pilates Method is proven to improve flexibility, increase strength and develop coordination. The exercises are executed on the mat and using Pilates apparatus.
The method focuses on good posture, precise alignment, breathing and strengthening the core muscles. Pilates is suitable for all ages and levels of physical fitness.
Joseph Pilates called his method “Contrology”, because it is based on precise execution of movements, conscious breathing and the complete coordination of the body and mind. Through the method you knowingly acquire the complete control of your own body.
Pilates developed his method to train healthy people, but since earliest years it also has had a strong connection with rehabilitation.
Eve has travelled and lived in many parts of the world. She also trained abroad to become certified Pilates instructor – 2015-2016 in Australia, Sydney, where she studied under the guidance of Grand Master Teacher Trainer Cynthia Lochard and her daughter Tamika Walker. They are both world-renowned teacher who co-ordinate training also in New Zealand, China, Korea and Russia.
Romana’s Pilates certificate required 650 hours of apprenticeship training and successful passing three stages of examination. In addition to studies in Australia, Eve has attended continuing education workshop in The Hague and in Moscow.
Since she began her training, Eve enjoys the benefits of Pilates as part of her daily routine − it is the joy of movement and wellbeing. She wants to pass this on to her clients: everyone should feel well in their bodies.
What Marju likes the most about Eve, is her correctness and attention to detail, and also her ability to keep their shared ideas structured and organised.
Marju became involved in Pilates through her personal life-changing experience − thanks to consistent training, she was able to relieve lower back pain that had been troubled her for 18 years causing inconvenience while doing sports and working.
Her own positive experience encouraged her to pursue a career as a Pilates trainer to help others to improve their strength and health. Marju is about to complete her training program with Marjorie Oron, a renowned Grand Master Teacher Trainer in The Hague, who is also European Regional Director of the Romana’s Pilates organization.
Marju greatly values the feeling of happiness and given opportunities to do things that inspire her. She is grateful to her lovely big family, who is always there to support her. Couple of times per year, she puts her mind and physical fitness to the test, for example by participating in Erna’s trip, X-dream or bike marathon.
What Eve finds most admirable about Marju, is her infectious energy and ability to get things done. Together they quickly put ideas into action.
